she's just a face in my mind now

She wore a high waist skirt, a cream blouse, and a silk scarf was elegantly tied around her neck. She had short hair, light complexion, and she looked right at me with brown eyes as she asked, "Sir, will it be coffee, tea, or water?"

I'm sure you've all been there. In the back of all our heads, there's that one person that since you 1st laid eyes on them, leaves their mark. Could be anyone if you ask me, the one girl in the teal tanktop and black skirt (Thanks Rj :D) with the Rihanna haircut shopping at the store you work in, with a look on her as if the length of today's tshirts for women was more trampy than feminine. Or the one guy at Starbucks, who ordered the caramel machiatto and has no shame in telling his girlfriend he loves her in public follwed after by a quick glimpse at their picture in his wallet. It's someone you never got the chance to get to know, not even their name. It might be shallow, but you can't really say it was ever just about looks, how many good looking people do you come across in a day? Now, think about how many of those people you can remember right now. Exactly my point :D If you ask me, it takes a lot to leave an impression, wait, more just like an imprint like that on someone, I guess you don't come across someone beautiful everyday. I'm sure it makes us all feel the same thing, like you're missing out on a huge portion of your life, but you don't even know what it is. You'll never know what they're all about, where they came from, if they're allergic to nuts, or if they like to hold hands over palms or through the fingers. I met a flight attendant, and I never even got her name.
